is it legal for an attorney to represent an estate and to also be the personal attorney for executer of estate/

Yes the attorney can represent the personal rep and handle other personal matters for him/her

Yes, in Florida the attorney handling the probate actually represents the Personal Representative (Executor) who administers the estate. In other states, the attorney represents the Estate.
