life insurance and probate
these are the facts: my sister died recently. my mother has cashed in on an insurance policy for $100,000. she is also a principal in the estate, i have released my interest to a third party. is there a potential conflict of interest with my mother? should my sister's estate receive any of the insurance proceeds? HELP!

FLORIDA LAW: If the insurance policy had your mother as a beneficiary then this policy does not go through probate and is not included in your sister's estate.
