Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

I just lost my father a few months ago and my mother is receiving calls constantly about my father's bills. These are bills that are not in my mother's name. Is there a letter that I can use for send to the creditors on behave of my mother for my deceased father's bills on your website?

If your mother is not liable on the bills, it is better to just ignore than to send a response. If she contacts them, it just may encourage them to try to squeeze something out by not giving up contacting her. If they get no response, they eventually quit.

Your mother is not responsible for his bills. As long as she signs nothing and pays nothing, she is not obligated to respond to them. I suggest you probate the estate. Contact my office for an appointment if you are in my area.

Don't probate his estate just to keep the creditors from calling mom. Your mom should just hang up.
