Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
If i make out a will on the internet, how do I know if it's legal? Do I have to file it with the state or county?

You don't know if it is done and executed correctly unless you read the statutes that deal with this. Do yourself a favor, and hire a qualified attorney to do your will. This is not worth taking a chance on.
That's the problem you don't know it's legal and that's part of the problem has emerged with people buying the documents on the Internet. I have started a e-lawyering service as part of my law firm where clients fill out client information sheets and I draft documents which are e-mailed or mailed to clients with instructions as to how they should be filled out and notarized if applicable. This keeps the cost for the client low and allows a lawyer like myself to prepare the proper documents so that documents would be legal under the state's laws for wills or trusts. If you would like my assistance in preparing your estate plan e-mail me your phone number by e-mail so I can discuss this important matter with you by telephone If you are interested.
Wills do not need to be filed. It is legal if it complies with Florida law. Depending on where you get the form from, it should be OK -- but you want to make sure that you check with whomever is selling you the form to confirm that it complies with Florida law and, obviously, you would be best to confirm with a lawyer that the form meets the requirements of Florida law. It is not expensive at all to do so and is usually a good investment. Get it done right, you only have one will and when you die it is too late to fix any mistakes.
