Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

What to do?

Married 12 years. I have not worked most of our marriage, when I did I mostly spent the money on our pleasure things. He has become more reliable on his oldest daughter for the past 2 years, I found out that he and her had gone and had a will made, he and her has gone to his financial adviser and has possibly changed some life insurance policies to her benefit. I do know that he has an annunity that will go to his 4 grown children at his death. I have tried to talk to him about a durable power of attorney, because he cannot remember things as well as he use to. My name is not on any of his finances, checking accounts etc.,so if something would happen to him, I cannot even write a check to pay the bills. I do not know what to do, I totally depend on him for money to buy a loaf of bread. Can he just turn over his finances to his daughter legally? I've been married to the man for 12 years and been through good times and bad times. The 12 years that we have been married she has not once been to the hospital when he needed test done etc. I have always been there for him. Is there anything that I can do to find out where I stand in this marriage?

Re: What to do?

I see an estate battle down the road. Suggest you have him examined to determine his mental capacity and susceptability to undue duress.
