Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

If I take my mom to the lawyers office to ad a codicil to her will is it a LAW in Florida that no one can be present in the office with her or is this just a practice of that law firm and if so can I object.

It is not a law. You can object all you want, but you are not the client, she is. If she doesn't want you there or agrees with the lawfirm, you are out of luck. If the lawfirm does not want you there in the room and your mother does, then she would need to get another lawyer.

It is her will, not yours. If your mother does want you to be there, then that is a different story, but it could indicate that you are influencing her to do something she does not want. For that reason, you should not be in the room.
