Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

my mom passed away without leaving a will. she put my grandmother down as "something" with her isurance at work. grandmother is making my uncle executor over estate. grandmother feels like estate needs to be divided among herself, my moms siblings, me and my sister. I went to clean my mothers house and take her valuables. My grandmother said that was fine now she is asking for me to bring things back to be "fair". What do I do?

If there is no will, the estate goes to the kids. The grandmother has no say in that. If she was the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, the proceeds of that go to her and she can do whatever she wants to with it.
