Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My mother is in the beginnings of Dementia. If and when the time comes that she cannot be taken care of at home and has to go to an Assisted Living facility will the property that she has put into a trust for myself and my sister be protected?

In general, yes if the trust was prepared properly and that was its intention. If your mother is concerned, she should speak to an estate planning attorney and have them review the trust. I would be happy to help.
