My mother died and she has some in the bank but she doesn't have a beneificary on the account. How can I get the money?

Depending upon the amount of money in the account you can utilize either Summary Administration (less than $75,000) or Formal Administration to collect the funds. The other factor will be whether you are the decedent's sole child. If not, the funds will be divided equally among all of them.
