My mother died and she has some in the bank but she doesn't have a beneificary on the account. How can I get the money?

You must probate the estate.

Depending upon the amount of money in the account you can utilize either Summary Administration (less than $75,000) or Formal Administration to collect the funds. The other factor will be whether you are the decedent's sole child. If not, the funds will be divided equally among all of them.

You need to do a probate administration. Check the website for your local clerk of court.
