Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
My mother in law left her house to her 4 children via a quitclaim deed. One of them refused to leave the house. What are their rights? Best way to handle since talking is not an option?

Hire an attorney. You may need to file a partition action to split the ownership of the property.

1. He owes the others reasonable rent.
2. If he refuses to sell, you must bring a partition action. The court will compel a sale.
I handle these matters all the time. Good luck.
