Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
My mother passed away in June of this year and my brother has been named as Executor. The attorney for the estate has sent paperwork requesting myself and my 2 other siblings provide our SSNs. Is this required or is this some sort of fishing expedition? By the way my 2 other siblings and I are contesting the will.

If you are contesting the will, you should consult with your lawyer about what information is and is not required and let him or her handle the matter.

You should have an attorney representing you in the will contest. eventually social security numbers may be needed.
