Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
My mother passed away and left all belongings to her grandson only...is this legal?

Under FL law, a person may disinherit children so long as they are adults.
Her bequests to her grandson may be legal.
Mr. Martin is absolutely correct. However, you did not state whether this was in a Will. If this is just word of mouth then NO.

The other attorneys provide you the bad news. The question is whether the "leaving" is with a will? If not, then intestacy rules would apply. Seek out one of the other two to assist.
Yes, this is allowed; however, it may not mean that the grandson truly gets all property. For instance, if there is property that is exempt from probate and is titled in such a way that a different beneficiary is named, then the grandson may not be entitled to that property.
