Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
my mother passed away and I was the co trustee. She left me the real estate thru the trust and left my brother and sister money thru a will. The problem is that there were no funds to cover the 100,000.00 that she left them each. At her death there was only about 5000.00 in her account. Do I have to pay my brother and sister this money which I do not have. I received no money the 5000.00 went for funeral expenses and I had to put money with it.
