Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

If my mother retired to move in with her ailing father to save the family from losing everything he owns by having to put him in a home, and 7 yrs later he passes leaving her out of the will( not stating anything about her at all) the will has been probated, can she charge the estate anything for her caretaking? Without her we would have lost everything by him having to have full nursing care.

No.

Those who received the estate (those who "would have lost everything") can give some of their recovery to her if they wish.
