Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
The order of payment of an estate
My cousin and I are beneficiaries to my uncle's estate. He get's 75%and I get 25%. He is the personal representive and has decided that we are splitting the costs equally and taking that out of our shares. Isn't law that expenses come out of the estate first then the net is distributed?

Yes. The costs are estate costs, not yours.
