Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Parent passed away,have no information on Estate

Mother died,had not been intouch,now Siblings are asking about her Estate,information on her last will.Oldest Sibling will not come forward with legal

information.Where can I research for any information,as to Mothers last requests.

You need to contact the county and state where your parent was living when she died.

Contact Clerk of Court in county of father's residence to determine if will was filed or probate was initiated. For example, in Florida will must be filed within 45 days of death. If not and there is property to be distributed, will should be filed or legal action to locate and compel filing of will. Any child could take this action, but will probably require an attorney.
