I do not recommend having your name added on to the title to your parents home. First, if you do not live in the residence it could result in higher property taxes (since they would lose a portion of their "homestead exemption"). Second because the home would lose full creditor protection. Third, should a dispute arise between you and them, they would require your signature to sell the real property and you would be legally entitled to a portion of the sale proceeds. Fourth, it will only complicate their lives, since they are healthy, and make selling the residence and moving to another more complicated.
