Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

If a person does not have a checking account and a check needs to be issued to them for inheritance purposes....can it be made to another person instead if the person inheriting the funds agrees.

No, that would not be the right thing to do. The beneficiary should get a money order or a bank cashier's check made out to the beneficiary. Such a check is as good as cash, and then there is no third party transfer (and risk therein).

Just get the check made out as a cashier's check and then take the check to a bank and they will cash it for you.
