Anything owned by the decedent that did not pass automatically to a co-owner or named beneficiary on the asset. Those assets pass (pour over) under the will, through probate, into the living trust. If everything is titled in the Trust, has a co-owner with right of survivorship, or has a live beneficiary avoids probate and is not covered by the will.
