How to get power of attorney of a deceased parents estate?

Power of attorneys are not for decedents. To administer an estate you would need to Petition to be Personal Representative if one has not already been assigned.

A Power of Attorney dies with the individual. If you want to be personal rep to administer the Estate you have to file a Petition as stated above. Seek Legal Counsel to assist you.
