Re: Power of Attorney

There are somethings that a power of attorney covers that are not covered by a living trust. For example, your power of attorney can authorize someone to file taxes for you. Your power of attorney can authorize your agent to change beneficiary designations. All of these things are things that the trustee of a living trust could not do.

You also may want to consider a power of attorney for health care that would allow someone to make health care decisions for you.
