Power of Attorney

I was Power of Attorney for my mother before she passed away. My question is, I wrote a check from her account and wrote my name on there and put POA on there. After she passed I was removed from Power of Attorney and now the accounts are in Probate. Will I have any troubles because I wrote a check from her account?

POA automatically terminates upon the death. Did you write the check before or after your mom's passing, and was the check for expenses incurred by or on behalf of your mother, or was it for a debt owed by her?
