Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Power of Attorney

My mother, who resides in Florida is an Alzheimer's patient and is probably in her last stage. I was never able to establish a power of attorney for her since I never really knew too much about it - then.... Someone mentioned to me that there is such a thing as a ''fingerprint'' power of attorney since my mother cannot sign anything, since she's advanced in her disease, but I never heard of such a thing. Is there something like this, and if there is, can I have it done and where?

Re: Power of Attorney

No such thing. You can petition the court to be appointed her guardian.
