Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
Can a PR and their attorney lie to the beneficiaries and keep it hiden that they (the PR and their Attorney) tranferred assets just a few days before the decendant died, then steal all the inheirtance and spend it all? What happens when a PR and their attorney falsify papers to transfer assets right before the decendant dies and not0rizes the paper work as attorney in fact and steals all the money, all the money? Blackmail has taken place. What can I do? Please help? I was just given the paper work by the PR!

Can they? Yes. Should they be able to do that, it depends on the wishes of the decedent. If the property was transferred with a valid POA or was jointly owned then the fact that it occurred days before death does not give any presumptions about it being wrong. That said, if the funds were extracted or POA or transfer was due to undue influence by one or more parties, there may be a claim. IF document is falsified then that can provide a civil and criminal penalty with it. Seek some legal help with the documentation that you have.
I agree with Mr. Stein. I suggest you RUN>>>>>>>>>>> to the nearest litigation probate attorney.
