Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
Probate Final Account
I have received a waiver from an attorney that has been doing my parents estate in Florida, they were not from Florida but had a home there. This lawyer sent us beneficiaries waivers for us to sign to approve what he has done, but we have never seen a final accounting of anything yet. I would like to see the final accounting and I am supposed to be sent that for free. I faxed him a letter stating that we would like to see the final accounting and are not going to sign a waiver without doing so. What else can I do if I do not hear back from him?

Re: Probate Final Account
You are entitled to see the final accounting. Tell the lawyer to send it to you before you sign the waiver so that you can decide whether or not to sign it.
