probate forms

need probate forms to collect on life insurance policy dad left in mom's name (she is dead). nothing else to divide.

If the amount is less than $75,000 and there are no creditors (or he died over 2 years ago), and everyone is in agreement, you can do a summary probate. It should cost no more than $1000. If you can't do summary probate, formal probate is required and unless you are the sole heir an attorney is required by Florida law. The cost will be substantially more. There are no forms available as such unless you find a form book at a law library, or perhaps some website may sell them to you. Sorry, but in Florida it really isn't a do-it-yourself job.
