Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Probate Litigation

Thanks for taking this question. I hope the subject is correct.

Question: My husband's father recenlty passed. His will was read, adm and closed in less than 3 months. My husband was never told until after he was buried of his death as we live in another state. It never came to us but by gossip from his ex-wife (my husband's) No where was mentioned or acknowledged that my husband (his biological child) should receive anything. Should he pursue? As we read when someone is disinherited it is much like a woman scorn or great big punch in the gut.

His father was up there in age (75). Retired federal worker with 33+ years of service etc.

We did not learn of his Will until his employers' life insurance co contacted us to complete the neccesary paperwork for distribution.

What would you suggest besides contacting an attorney? Do you recommend anyone?

Thanks for your help.
