Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
Probate
Is it a Standard Procedure if a man is a Ward of the State and died having no money and owning nothing. He was left with lots of bills. For a lawyer to Petition for his death certificate and Will? and putting it in probate? I never heard of such thing? Could you answer me why this lawyer did this.?

Re: Probate
First, you should direct your question to the lawyer. Your question does not include all of the facts and its hard to respond without knoweldge of everything.

Re: Probate
There are many reasons for opening a probate and you should ask the attorney why this was done. He/she did not just randomly decide to proceed, I assure you.
