How long do I have to wait for my sister to process probate for my mother that has passed

There is no set time. It depends upon what is involved (assets, creditors, taxes , real estate etc).
Retain counsel if you any worries.

Probate can take 1 - 2 years depending on the complexity of the matter. You can review the file by going to the courthouse where the case was filed. Some courts even have their docketsheets online which will show when everything is getting filed. If you are not happy, have your attorney file an appropriate motion with the court.
