Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Property distrubution upon intestate death

Both my mother and father passed away within months of each other, leaving no will. The deed to our house is in both of their names and mine. I have three (3) other siblings. What do I need to do to have the property put in my name, solely.

Thank you.

Re: Property distrubution upon intestate death

If you are on the deed with rights of survivorship it should be a rather simple matter. If you were a joint owner with your parents then your siblings will have a claim on that portion of the home owned by your parents. In that case your parents share is part of their probate estate and must be sold to you out of the probate estate.
