How to prove original will was lost.
I have a COPY of the will. The original was acquired from my Mom's safety deposit box and was sent to a lawyer. The lawyer claims it wasn't the original. Rather than a debate that I will lose (I can't prove I mailed the original) I understand it's possible to ''prove'' an original was lost. What is the procedure for proving an original copy of a will was lost? (HOW do you prove it?)
The original was notorized and witnessed by two of her friends.

The procedure is complex( it involves procedures) in order to make sure the copy of the will is the copy of the original. I would suggest you call me at my law office tomorrow if you would like me to assist you.
