Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

I would like to put my husbands and my hojme home in the names of our children so that it cannot be used for medical expenses as far as being considered our assets. What would this be called.

That is not necessary. Under Florida law your "homestead" is protected from both creditors and Medicaid attachment.

There are also a lot of tax consequences associated with making a substantial gift to your children.
