Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Q: What is the statute of limitations for fraud concerning a trust in Florida ?

Asked from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, United States

Details:

When someone with a power of attorney for the trust recipient makes fraudulent 'claim' to the trust. As in: The person with a PoA requires the trust to meet the trust provision of / and provide a home for the beneficiary. Yet, the individual with power of attorney utilizes the property for their own benefit and moves the actual trust beneficiary into a different facility which is then paid for by the beneficiaries own funds. This then results in the trust buying a home for someone (the trust beneficiary ) that does not use nor live there. The actual trust beneficiary is then put in a position of having to provide their own accommodations, while the house purchased for them is used by someone else.

You need to consult an attorney. Unless the fraud was covered up the statute is four years.
