If I own real estate in Florida and have legal residency in Florida, should my will be done by a Florida attorney?

Yes, but if you have property in other states your family may need to probate Estates in those locales as well.

If you are a resident of Florida, your will along with other planning documents (e.g. Power of Attorney, Designation of Health Care Surrogate, Living Will, etc.). Should be prepared in Florida by a Florida estate planning attorney.

I would say yes. However, given the question its likely you probably own real estate in other states and/or reside in other states for some parts of the year. Accordingly, you should talk with a trust and estates attorney to get the best and most efficient life/death planning documents available to you to avoid unnecessary expenses for you and your family in the long run. Basically what I'm getting at is that you should look at the advantages of a trust. Hope this helps.
