Real Estate TAX Rate After Death Boca Raton, Florida
Hi, after a death in the family .. we have a property that is valued as 600K taxable by the City of Boca Raton, Florida - the house is worth like 750/800K QUESTION: when is the ''NEW'' tax rate going to take effect ? the old tax rate was about 2K per year SO there is still a sister living in the house does the old tax rate apply OR does the NEW tax rate go into effect and when ? NOTE: we are in the process of selling the property but it may take a year to sell ? Thanks in Advance
