Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
We recently completed a short sale on our house in Virginia on 8/10/2011. My Mother recently died (on 8/19/2011) and my sister, the executor of her estate, wants me to take our Mothers house in Florida. Can I inherit her house and occupy it after going through a short sale? The short sale said that we couldn't purchase a mortgage for 2 years after the short sale.
