Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

While I was recently told by a sibling that in the state of FL our father could NOT leave us out of his will, I've always understood otherwise. Is there some statute in Florida law that requires all children (and yes, we are all grown) be provided for?

No. So long as you are all adults, and unless there's something really unusual going on, like some sort of court ordered support for a disabled child or such, and so long as none of the children are your fathers wife (joke about whatever state you want) then he can cut any or all you you out of his will if he wants. I draft wills cutting children out all the time.
