Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My ex remarried a year ago (we were married over 20 years) after 12 yrs being single. We have 2 children (adults). The new wife has a fraudulent will...notarized and witnessed by family members, my ex husbands signature forged (very easy to see) naming her 40 year old son as one of his children,it goes on and on. He was run over on a motorcycle by someone who ran a stop sign. His new wife changed everything, including his life ins. If I could just know where to even start. We live in MI she lives in FL

If your husband lived in Florida - then the county in which he resided would have a copy of his will on file for the probating of his estate. If you contact the clerk's office there, they can tell you if a will or an estate has been opened. If she did not open an estate, there is little more that you can do. As a divorced spouse you are not entitled to anything he owned after the divorce. IF there was an insurance policy and it was changed, you would have to contact the insurance office and put a cliam on the policy. The company would then hold the policy until a court decides who the recipient of the policy is. I suggest you move quickly because one it is gone, it is gone.
