Removal of name off titles

How do we go about removing my deceased father-in-law's name off a car title and mobile home title and add my mother-in-law's name? She has miss placed the title to both.

Re: Removal of name off titles

Call a title agency and ask, at a minimum they will want a death certificate. If they require a court order, you will have to initiate a probate proceeding, depending on the value of the car and mobile home you will be able to use the summary proceeding or perhaps even the disposition without administration.
