Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Who is responsible for the payment of bills (credit cards, phone, car payment, etc) if a person dies without a will and no estate? And in this case, if the deceased wasn't married (lived with a boyfriend for 7-8 years), wouldn't her only child (15 years old) be entitled to her belongings rather than the boyfriend?

If there is no estate, then no one. Her child would inherit her estate under intestacy laws. Her boyfriend would have no legal right to it.
