What qualifications must an appointed trustee of a revocable trust posess? i.e. - Can an individual in the process of declaring chapter 7 bankruptcy legally be appointed as a trustee? Thank you.

Re: revocable trusts
Generally, a trustee of a revocable trust must be an adult with legal capacity acceptable to the grantor or the trust. Of course, depending on the nature of the trust, a trustee should be qualified to assume the responsibiities set forthin the trust. A person who has filed under Chap. 7 Federal bankruptcy is not disqualified by that fact.
