Sale of a car.

In Texas Grandfather passes away and leaves daughter (mom) all assets, leagal and uncontested.

Mom wants Granddaughter in Florida to sell Grandfathers car in Florida.

Title is still in grandfathers name.

What does granddaughter need mom to do or sign to sign over the title to a credit union for sale.

I'm assuming that the car is titled in the grandfather's name only. If the Grandfather lived in Texas at the time of his death then Texas probate law will determine how the estate should be distributed. Depending on Texas law, the car may have to go through probate. In Florida, for instance, an automobile used for personal use can be deemed exempt from probate. I strongly recommend consulting a probate attorney in the county where your Grandfather last resided. Be sure to ask about tax consequences as well.
