Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Securing a copy of a Will

My grandfather died and left all assets to his children (grandmother already deceased) to be divided equally. Since my mother is also deceased, her siblings did not include her (or her children) in the the dispersement of assets stating the Will stipulated ''surviving children.'' They will not produce a copy of the Will for my review. How can I get a copy? Is it public record?

Re: Securing a copy of a Will

The will is required to be filed with the local probate court. If they fail to do so they can be compelled to file it by the court.
