Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My sister has Power of atty. and ther is questionalble amount of money missing w

Help? My sister was selected by my parents to care for them and she agreed.

My mother has passed on and my father has Parkinsons and Parkinsons Dementia. A CONSIDERABLE amount of money is missing from his trust as well as the money from the sale of his house.

My sister lost her job and didn't work for almost 2 years but managed to make the payments on her house. She has just informed me that she is putting Over $2oo,oo (of her money) down on another house for her and my Dad.

She has given mybrother enough money to talke frequent vacations, a car, boat, and build onto his house.

Meanwhile my father lives in an apartment and I in a run down mobile home.

I contacted Florida Probate Court and they won't speak to me without an attorney. I am a widow and can't afford one.

You raise serious issues related elder abuse. I think you need to discuss this matter with an attorney. Have you tried to speak to anyone at the local bar association in Florida to see if they offer any free or discounted services. If you send me an e-mail we can talk about this in more detail.

You do need an attorney in those gardianship matters. You can call your local legal aid society. If you qualify, they will help you pro bono. Good luck.
