Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
Specific Bequest
My aunt and uncle with seperate wills both leave me a condo in Florida after leaving it to each other should one preceed the other in death. Both parties are later deemed unable to handle their affairs and are placed in a nursing home. The condo is sold be the quardian. Uncle dies and then aunt dies. The personal representative says I only get 50% of the value for which the condo sold for.
Right or Wrong?

Re: Specific Bequest
If the condo was willed to you, but it needed to be sold to pay for expenses (or for any other reason), you would not be entitled to anything. Your post suggests that you are a beneficiary under the will and what you are receiving is what is left in the estate.
