Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

What State Has Jurisdiction!

I am a resident of Fl, my fiance is a resident of Maryland. We both own our homes and intend to maintain our primary residences in separate states after we get married. In which state would we seek legal representation for estate planning and possible pre-nup. Which state would have jurisdiction in the event of divorce?

Re: What State Has Jurisdiction!

There are not enough facts here. You can't have two primary residences. You can probably by agreement ahead of time decide which state will have jurisdiction. If you each plan to live in seperate houses in separate states you probably need some relationship counseling now, as opposed to later!!
