Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
What does this statement mean, when a lawyer writes;
furnish it to the seller. It will be a thick document. It will have tabs and an index. It will include a full accounting, copies of all the closing statements, the deed, all the easement agreements, all the releases, satisfactions, side agreements, affidavits and papers signed by the seller. We dont compile this until the closing is over. This means, the recorded deed is back in this office, the final title policy (ies) have been issued, and any loose ends have been tied up.
What are releases, satisfactions, side agreements, affidavits and deed is back in this office, Mean? Is this saying the deed is coming back to the attorney and the supply the deed from the attorneys office, to give to the owner, owner of whos attorney would have the deeds, right? Thanks you.
1 Answer from Attorneys
The best person to answer this is the person who wrote it. Anyone else attempting to answer would be guessing. It would appear that the attorney wants all documents which were recorded or needed to be executed back in the office. The recording of the deed is usually required to be done by the attorney who is writing the title policy.
