Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My Step Mom passed away in June of 2011. She lived in West Palm Beach. After my Father had passed she called and asked for my SS#. Upon her death my step brother called to let me know that I was in her will"In Trust" . That I was left money from her annity but my other step brother was starting problems or something. I am trying to find out what is happening with this will,but have not been able to get any more information . How do I obtain information as to what is going on with the will

If the will went to probate, it was filed with the Court in the county where the decedent resided.

As a named beneficiary, you are an interested party, and can request to get a copy filed with the court. If it was Palm Beach County, it could be in West Palm Beach or the Delray Beach Courthouse.

You may want to use an attorney to protect yourself, and your rights. Especially if you do not know what those rights are.
