Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My stepfather died. My mother 5 years ago. They owned a mobile home together. Now I want to sell it and the title is in both their names with no will, only death instructions hand written. How do I go about selling it?

The hand written death instructions won't help you. Most likely, you will have to do a summary probate for the last to die (I assume that was your stepfather, from the facts provided).

You cannot sell it. It belongs to the estate of your stepfather.

Your stepfather's estate has to go through probate in the county where he lived. If he had no will, then it will go to his heirs according to Florida law. Regards,
