Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Successor Trustee Accountability?

My parents have a Revocable Living Trust. Until Oct.2004, I was the successor trustee. My mother has just passed away. Unknown to me, the Trust was changed. No reason has been given. Now, upon my father's death or disability, a lawyer, who I have never met & has no personal history with our family, is to be the Trustee/Administrator. My father will not allow me or any other family member to review the Trust documents. We are all very concerned.... Since, I'm no longer to be the trustee, how can I insure that my father will be financially taken care of if he becomes disabled? How will I insure that his assets are properly distributed upon his death? As the beneficiary, can I hold this lawyer accountable?
